Hearing that Vanderdoes is reconsidering his commit to USC and that Oregon is back even with the Trojans.

Maybe he will be this year's surprise 5* late in the game.

Vanderdoes is an ass sniffer, nose planted on Lamo's sack until he realized that Lamo can't fuckin coach! Now he wants to be a Duck? Shocker!

Difference..... DAT hadn't been to Oregon's campus multiple times infact here once than commited....

Vadernuts was dating the Oregon staff for a year and a half and when Lamo finally had U$C'd that amazing recruiting class, Eddie jumped on the gravy train....

I think Chip will be offended if Hutchings, Eddie or Redfield try and flip.... Chip wants Ducks who want to be ducks!! Not be a duck as a second choice because your team got quack smacked by 35 points on Nov.3rd for the nation to see or because you'd got woodsheded by the Happy Trees!

really? That sure is interesting Cause the SI article talks about how DAT was interested in Oregon... chose USC then a week before signing day had his HS coach get in contact with UO cause he was still interested.

These are 17 year old kids in most instances. Give me a break on trashing a kid because he a) chooses to go elsewhere or b) Thought he wanted to go elsewhere then had a change of heart/mind.

My point is Vanderdoes has been to the Oregon campus many times... He saw an all star recruiting class being formed at USC and jumped on board.. Sure he's 17 but it seems most of those USC guys are more about lime lighting than being on a TEAM.... They are infact very much a reflection of Lamo and the U$C philosophy which doesn't work at Oregon!

BTW- Vandedoes didn't want to play NG here, so why would he flip back to the Ducks?

    Time to un-lurk.

Vanderdoes despite not looking it is still a kid, and can change his mind and we shouldn't hold it against him. Maybe he bought into the hype at the time, all his friends were getting pin striped pintos and he wanted one too. Maybe he bought into USC's negative recruiting. Maybe he bought into the BS commit now or there will be no spots. (note considering how hard USC is still recruiting several players despite lacking spots, it should be obvious if they follow recruiting Committing did not make their spot safe.)

No need to get personal because he seemed to suddenly flip from totally Oregon to USC in less than a month. Recruiting is a marathon not a race, if he comes to his senses and commits to oregon (Assuming we still have that spot left) we should be happy. If he tries and we no longer have that spot, he'll know why.

So Two LB spots with a plethora of targets available. I'd like Egu, Mitchell, Jack. But that is 3 and ignores other possible targets Ragin, Issah, and Colorito. I think Barring lots of strike outs Ragin, and Colorito will be looking from the outside in unless they want to skip a different offer and be a prefered walk on.

Can I get their first names at least? I know who Mitchell is though. And yes: LBs, OL, and DL is what we should focus on. If we can get Eddie V and Bostick here then we're good in that department. We're good at RB for now(can't mean we can't grab another for the 2014 class though)

Victor Egu is a 3* (for now methinks) OLB from De La Salle High School. A Pretty Big football HS Power in Cali.

I'm drawing a blank on Jack though for some reason

Considering how hot UCLA is right now I don't see him flipping, especially with Jim Mora in town.

How's Ellias McCarthy doing down there by the way? Redshirting or what?

Rumor was about a week ago that Jack was flashing the O with his friend 2014 4 star Budda Baker after getting TD's in a HS game. He also had a long talk with Pellum recently.

Of couse a few weeks Prior Zayad Issah stated he felt like he was getting pressure from Oregon to commit.
