Isn't he, like, the PRESIDENT? Why would he even need debate prep at all, because he's the most sophisticated gather of intelligence in the history of mankind.
I think Obama thinks the media spin machine will cover for him no matter how he does in the debate. Therefore, he can get more bang for his buck by going to events in swing states.
