Isn't he, like, the PRESIDENT? Why would he even need debate prep at all, because he's the most sophisticated gather of intelligence in the history of mankind.

I think Obama thinks the media spin machine will cover for him no matter how he does in the debate. Therefore, he can get more bang for his buck by going to events in swing states.

More a case of not bothering to bulk up to beat up a 3rd grader. The debate's a given.

But you can wear that tin foil hat if it makes you feel better.

He's a President running for reelection. He hasn't the time. Imagine how many requests he gets- probably hundreds per week.

Going on Letterman and the View are more important than PDBs for this clown, let alone prepping for a debate.

Well, I'm sure it'd be a great PR move, but he gets more exposure on TV shows with wide followings.

    Fixed it for you.

He spent 30 minutes, literally, apologizing for the months-old YouTube video that he claims is the reason behind assaults on our embassies.

There's a reason why Rush Limbaugh makes over 100K per year and Thom Hartmann doesn't make half of that. It's because Conservative talk radio is FAR bigger than Progressive.

Read more of my political posts and you'd realize you look silly.

I typed that in jest, if you read more around here you'd realize I'm as lib as it gets. Yes, I do own a pair of birkenstocks and yes I do eat granola.

He makes quite a bit more than $100K/annually. In fact, he makes more than I thought.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/07/02/AR2008070202063.html

I think conservative talk radio is more popular than progressive radio because so much of the media holds the progressive view. It's like Roger Ailes said when he started FOX (and I'm paraphrasing from memory): "I went for an underserved niche audience, which turned out to be almost half the country."
