I'm looking forward to the online chats with Casey and the players. They are always very entertaining. http://blogs.trailblazers.com/Broad...188/EntryID/4324/BroadcasterID/4/Default.aspx
Im not sure if this applies and its not ground breaking but I know I love every morsel of Blazer info: http://www.foxsportsohio.com/10/01/...ing_cavaliers.html?blockID=798187&feedID=8888
I really REALLY wish we could've got Kidd-Gilchrist. I read somewhere that Charlotte's pick was available to anyone willing to take Tyrus Thomas off Charlotte's books. I wish we'd done that. Even if we cut Thomas it would've been worth it, but I also think Thomas can play. If we'd done that, we could've let the Wolves sign Batum. He might be more talented than Kidd Gilchrist (and certainly a better shooter) but he'll never have the drive MKG has. MKG is a Noah-type player and those are worth their weight in gold.
Via twitter: Tony Williams @TBone8 Felton: "I've got big chip on my shoulder. In Portland I came into camp out of shape & got complacent. I'm in shape now." Hmmm ... ya think????
The lockout has always proven to be a killer to many NBA players who rely on their teams programs to get/stay in shape. Pumped! Be hard to get work done today. http://www.nba.com/blazers/tbtv/index.html
Get that hack outta here! Nic: What have you approved on this summer, what different about you? I'm more mature , more vocal, I'm a leader, not a young guy anymore How do you like the new coaching staff? I like it, like his vision, had dinner with head coach, the coaches are on the court. We're young, but I like what the coaches say we're gonna comptete no matter what. I'm excited for a new fresh start.
Batum's Goal: "Be an All-Star in the next four years, be one of the best SF's in the NBA." On contract negotiations/drama: "The past is the past, it's a new season with a fresh start"
Jason Quick @jwquick LaMarcus Aldridge compared the oncourt chemistry with Damian Lillard to that he had with Andre Miller Jason Quick @jwquick Wesley Matthews said the oncourt chemistry between Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge has been noticeable in summer scrimmages
Canzano has some pretty good interviews today and a guy live at the PF. It's nice to actually hit October and know that we're less than a month away from the season.
Best Blazers news I've read since Summer League ended. Lillard has never played with a big man who can score anywhere inside the arc. Aldridge has never played with a PG who can run, penetrate, dish and shoot from distance.
