    Maybe if you had

A: said that around draft time instead of October
B: had not used extra question marks
    and
C: had actually provided some kind of substance to your post (i.e., "this player instead..." or "this is why I feel this way")

people would've thought you were trying to make a good post.

The Blazers would have to include Lillard AND a future first along with Leonard.

didnt pj3 get red flagged for a bum knee before the draft? and then injure his knee in summer league?

sounds like a steal at 11

    It's "through".

We drafted him as we need a center. He's clearly a 'first round' talent and so we took him. He was also probably the best center available.

I'm not even going to read the thread. I'm going to respond to a fucking troll.

If you have one eye, and half a brain, you could identify that Leonard is not a stiff. There for you stink of troll shit.

Sorry, you don't get to play the victim on this (another popular troll tactic - stir up shit and then complain when others correctly point out you smell like shit).

Opinions are fine. Everyone is entitled to one. However, opinions without justification are useless and provide no basis for an intelligent discussion.

You have stated a very strong negative opinion, but have provided NOTHING to back-up that opinion. You have been asked several direct questions about why you think Leonard is a stiff, a bust and an NBDL level talent, but have failed to provide a single piece of data, or even a reason, to back up those negative opinions.

Leonard has a very rare combination of great size and athleticism, fills a need, and put up good college stats (not quite as good as you're favorite once a generation center, but still certainly worthy of a number 11 pick).

So, time to put up or shut up. Provide some basis for your negative opinions, or accept the well earned troll monicker.

I'm fine with Leonard being picked at 11th. It's a gamble but a good one.

I do think that Freeland will have a better rookie season. More minutes, points and rebounds but Leonard will have more blocks and fouls.

Love the post but let's stop comparing Leonard to Oden. Similiar college stats but that's were the comparison ends. Oden forced teams to play differently vs him and was a unmovable monster on both sides of the glass.
I get why your comparing them but it's like comparing Mike bibby to cp3, just makes me cringe.

Well gee, I guess some of the scouts who get paid to evaluate talent, watched hours of film on him, watched him in workouts and thought he had a chance to be a pretty good player. I'm sorry they didn't consult with you first.

But Meyers has good legit size, length, and very good athletisism. He's also got a shooting touch. He looked a heck of a lot more polished than Drummond in summer league, and he's young.

If you don't think Meyers is going to be constantly compared to Oden, you are fooling yourself.

Compared to Oden? Are you fucking kidding me? Yes Oden was a injury nightmare over and over but, If he could of stayed healthy he was a can't miss franchise changer. Comparing Leonard to Oden is a joke! There's no expectations for him to be anything near what Greg could of and still will be.

Use your brain. Did I say anything about expectations? Nope. He's a big man in Portland. Even if you say:

"I hope he isn't injured as much as Oden", YOU ARE COMPARING HIM TO ODEN.

Oh and your avatar SUcks. It's the reason we have Babbit...
