The long drought is nearly over! If any Blazer team needed a pre-season it's this year's squad: seven new players, and trying to learn a completly new offense under Stotts. Just about every position off the bench is open for battle. I think this team has enough talent in it's starting lineup to crack .500. Matthews, Batum, and Lillard will have to step up though. The bench is such a big question mark, but I think they could be better than expected.
anyone in SoCal going to the game on Wednesday, I know there are a few of you dirt people out there reppin' PDX? Its in Ontario but I'm probably going to be in the OC that day so I might peep it...its a L*kers game though, I hate going to those.
Our lack of depth is going to be huge this year. I think our starting 5 will be above average. Lets hope we can get some contributions from guys that we didn't expect. Babbitt, Claver, Smith and Morrison will need to step up. Jeffries is a long time proven hustle player and offensive rebounder. Should be interesting. Lots of question marks.
Just threw underwear and tshirts in the laundry right now. We fly out tomorrow afternoon for Ontario. Can't believe it's all starting!!!!!
Showing all the games and having happy hour food specials at my brothers restaurant over here in NE Portland. http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-red-fig-at-beaumont-village-portland http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Red-Fig/141061906031793?fref=ts
I'll check it out next Blazer game I don't foolishly make plans during and watch with my gf. Are you serious about the Happy Hour during the Blazer games? I like that gimmick idea!
