He has big, bad, Billy (i.e. God) in his corner. (winky duly attached: ) Graham told Romney: “I’ll do all I can to help you. And you can quote me on that.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...do-all-i-can-to-help-you/?wprss=rss_campaigns
There was little chance the evangelicals were voting for Obama this time anyway, but every little bit helps, I suppose.
hmm I caught a thing that stated that we are at an historic low for those that claim to be christian at 39%, there were like 20 some percent that had slid to somewhere in the mid ground between practicing to athiest that considered them selves identifying independent, so may help a bit ?
I don't know where you heard these stats, but they're way off. According to a Pew survey, 78.4% of adult Americans identify themselves as Christian. Atheists only account for 1.6%, with another 2.4% saying they're agnostic. Of course, there are 12% who say they're "nothing in particular" when it comes to religion. http://religions.pewforum.org/reports
Not sure what Billy Graham has to do with it, but barring a major collapse, Romney does have this one in the bag. Obama is still running around talking about Big Bird, as if anybody cares.
jokes aside, I seriously thought he was dead. But thats mostly because I just don't give a crap about religious figureheads (good or bad)
I kinda figured. I will tell you, though, when Graham does finally die....it will be an international event. You'll hear about it, I'm pretty certain of that. Billy has bent the ears of probably the past 5 or 6 Presidents......not to mention everything else he's accomplished in his heralded career/ministry. EDIT: On the Presidents thingy.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Graham#Pastor_to_presidents
He, like any religious figure who is really about religion and not politics, needs to be supportive of whoever candidate is near him.
