No. Obama did fine, however he didn't "hit it out of the park" like he needed to. The townhall format was supposed to be his bread and butter because he's a "people person", so no biggie really. I've heard that Romney has been saving up his attack ads for the last 3-4 weeks, so expect them to ramp up.

Candy Crowley on CNN says that she was aware that Obama said what he did in the Rose Garden, but she also says he was asked directly if it was a terrorist act shortly after and then again for 2 weeks and he said no. She also said the administration for two weeks blamed some youtube video for inciting a riot when there ultimately turns out there was no riot whatsoever at the embassy. Go fact check it.
