Re: OT: Brandon Roy looked, good among others on SC I would like to have a running thread about my boy B! He will always be Blazer related.
Re: OT: Brandon Roy looked, good among others on SC Propose it to the forum dictator, I mean moderator, maybe because of your rep power you won't get shot down.
Re: OT: Brandon Roy looked, good among others on SC Valancunas wasn't nearly as fluid as I had imagined. He moves more Przybilla than he does Noah IMO.

You ladies have your B-Roy Sticky. But if I see any of you starting a new thread about Roy I'm banning you for a week.
Roy blames Portland fans - http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...brandon-roy-minnesota-timberwolves/index.html
yeah, it was me negotiating the maximum-value, maximum-length deal after 4 knee surgeries. My bad, guys. The unfortunate thing is that his "last great game" wasn't his "last game." Maybe he's forgotten about the 14pts total in Game 5 and 6, but I haven't.
just as a hypothetical, HCP....what would it take for you to not love him? The reason I'm asking is b/c I think I felt the same way about Drexler that you do for Roy, and Clyde's now so dead to me that I didn't even go up to him in airport to say "Hi, I'm a Blazer fan and spent my pre-teens and teens idolizing you"
I have no reason to not love him. I'm biased because I got to know him, but I loved him as a player on the court and I don't think that will change just because he plays for another team. Just like I still root for Blake and Jack.
I wonder how many game winners he'll hit against us? Best of luck, Brandon. You'll always be a Blazer.
Depends on who you consider his co star. Former all-star Jamaal Magloire played in 81 games Roy's rookie year! Oh, and ZBo played in 68 games that year to Roy's 55. For most of his time in Portland, LaMarcus was the second best player on the team and he missed far fewer games than Brandon. The better question would be: Has LaMarcus ever played without losing his co star to an injury? Between Roy and Oden, Aldridge, who was supposed to be our 3rd best player, spent most of his time alone on the island while Oden and Roy spent their time in the operating room and rehab. BNM
I think fans were a bit pissed about the Brandon situation, because they knew he was just beginning a max contract that would really hamper the team for years, and of course, there was a lot of injury frustration mounting.
