Oregon is what, 2nd-worst for jobs created over the last 4 years per population?

I fully expect the dumbshits in Portland to elect yet another Democrat, and then they can Occupy Portland again.

From what I can tell, Portland tries pretty hard to develop economic growth. Whether or not they succeed in a depression is another matter. So I have no complaints, overall.

what is sad is that most equate "Oregon" as being portland. Sure, Portland has had job growth, the unemployment numbers are great etc, while the rest of the state is in the shit. The averages show us at what, 8 percent? that takes into account the 15 for linn county, the 14 or 18 for coos county etc etc etc.

I hope that a lot of those that voted for barry the first time, find no reason to do so again.

My wife and I usually do not see eye to eye as far as the presidential election, her brother and his children all were proud to help usher in a new beginning with barry in the WH. There are ten people who are making a point of not repeating the same mistake. Gives me a little faith.

    Very good points.

The Obamadepression has been very hard on small rural counties. Even devastating. That's so easy to forget.

Just say no to Mormons. I actually think it wold be a much larger social statement to elect a Mormon to office than a half white guy.

True. It would say we may have moved past religious bigotry.

Well, if he were a Scientologist he'd have Tom Cruise's vote and if he were a Muslim I am certain the left can drum up an absentee ballot from Osama Bin Laden.

Does it matter? Don't bother voting.

But if Romney loses I guess the world will be slightly less violent, as bad as Barry is.

States are responsible for their individual economies and all manage them differently. Portland is largely Democratic and has fared well in comparison to rural Oregon which is staunchly right-wing.

Your state senators and reps are the ones you should blame.
