    Kevin Love.

    -Elite rebounder
-MUCH more of an assertive scorer
    -Younger

    It's an easy choice IMO.

    Neither. They both bore me.

But if I had to pick one, it would be Aldridge. Much more versatile and a better defender.

    It's an easy choice IMO.

    Love is clearly injury prone.

To me Aldridge is more of a team guy than Love is. Love will miss a shot on purpose just to get his own rebound. Love is more about stats.

Depends on how optimistic you feel about LMA's heart and hip conditions.

LMA. He at least defends. Love is putting up all-time stats on non-playoff teams, while LMA at least has averaged over 20/8 on a playoff team.

Does 23/14 matter when you can't make the playoffs?

That's what people said about Randolph and then he beat the #1 seed in the playoffs. If and when a playoff team is successfully built around him, your complaint will be meaningless. He's not the problem.

And by the way, Aldridge didn't get his team to the playoffs last season.

Two season ago when LMA played like a true center he was by far the best scoring big in the game. Bill Simmons talked about this in a podcast about how he went from a jumpshooting softy to an unstoppable force in the paint.

He's Rasheed Wallace: Unwilling to play to his talent level. With Stotts, LMA will play at the elbow primarily it seems.

At the moment its love because of age but if age was taken out id go with LMA because he is a more complete player.

I'm pretty excited to have Stotts' offense, until I realize he's going to turn LaMonster back into LaMarshmallow. There has to be a middle ground that puts LaMarcus in the paint and still employs 'player movement - ball movement'.

Oh, yeah. I pick LaMarcus. He's a more complete player, way better defender, and I believe more of a team player. My impression of Love, right or wrong, is that he is a selfish stat padder. Sure he wants to win, and he has drive, but he still comes off as an egocentric stat padding glory hound. Who can't defend. The right coach and the right offense will get all star results out of LaMarcus, just fine.

I wouldn't build around either guy. Find the next Kobe, Lebron, Durant, etc. and go with that.

If you had to choose Love or LMA to go alongside the next "xyz" which would you pick?

i guess, LaMarcus because of his versatility on the defensive end. Love's a better player in a vacuum, but he gives up way too much defensively for me to ever take him seriously as a vital component on a championship team.
