He's playing defense. It's not for a lack of effort. It's just obvious that he has no idea how to defend someone like Westbrook.... but that's okay because most of the league can't defend him either.
Looks like Waiters played OK ... 28 minutes, 13 points, 3 dimes, 5-12 shooting. Nothing to be ashamed about.
I'm glad we didn't give a big contract to Jeremy Lin! I wonder of Houston is having buyers regret on him yet, he's looked pretty average. Lillard is going to be the leader of our team, like Brandon Roy was.
Lin has been hurt all summer. Pretty early to close the book on him (unless the knee is a chronic issue).
I didn't mean to say he was unwilling, just that I don't think he knows how to play effective defense ... yet. No shame in that.
Eh, to me it's still Aldridge, since Lillard needs to keep on proving himself. Im sure he can and in time, I think it well get to the point where Lillard is our best player and having Aldridge as a second banana isn't a bad thing.
This. It's only been 3 games. More importantly, Lillard has the potential to be one of the league's best players, while LMA is proven and is not. I mean, he's like a cut below the Kobe/LeBron/Wade/Duncan/Durant type stars.
Well, see, my point was that I don't think Nash tries very hard. I think Lillard is trying, I just don't think he has the experience yet.
