Someone is going to go undefeated and get left out. Possibly two teams. There is a very good chance that four teams will go undefeated this year. Just crazy. I hope the Ducks aren't one of the teams that gets left out in the cold.

I suppose hoping for USC to beat ND would be too much to ask. Trojans will throw the bloody game just to mess with us!

    (not that I am paranoid)

Considering ND almost lost to Pitt.... I will be very upset if USC loses that one.

I think ND can lose to USC and K-State could stumble (honestly, I don't envy you schedule, either), but I guess my hope is for Florida to beat Bama in the SEC Championship and for you guys to crush K-State while OSU beats up on ND in the Rose.

I hear ya. If the USC offense plays as well against ND as they did against us, they should win. (I just don't think the ND offense can win that sort of shoot-out)

If it does end with 4 undefeated teams, you know the networks will make sure it is ND/Bama in the Natty.

If we go undefeated, beat USC in the conference title game and win our bowl game, it won't be a bad season. Many around the country will be wishing the playoff series had started this year....everyone knows the Ducks should be in the title game.

I just wonder how we'll be next year. We'll have a lot of returning players, but the biggest loss will be Barner. None of the RBs on our roster are even close to being as talented as him.

We've had such a string of great RBs at Oregon, we just need to hope Tyner pans out.

Tyner, Wilson, and potentially 1 more. And Marshall. Not saying replacing Barnes is easy. But I still expect RB to be a position of strength.

Who is Wilson, a recruit coming on next year? Marshall has looked pretty average to me. When Barner was backing up James, you could tell he would make an awesome starter as well, because there was very little drop off (and Barner has improved this year too). But I'm not seeing that with Marshall.

Our defense is also taking a bit hit next year up front, so it might be good for us to get a crack at the title game now.

Well..Marshall is a True Freshman, of course he looks average. And Tyner has the Adrian Peterson like body and Dontre Wilson akin to LMJ.

And who knows, maybe Derrick Green will come to Oregon and we have a 4 Horsemen like LSU. But then again, playing with Shane Morris, that stud Offensive line will be tempting
