Roy has a PER of 7.6 after 4 games. It can only get worse as the year off for his knees starts to go away. Who advised him to come back, and how big of a fool is Kahn?
Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda BRoy is out with a sore right knee. Out for the night Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda @erriiikkk anything with his knees at this point probably is serious Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda @JosephFafinski i'm not sure anything has to happen with his knees for him to go out. maybe banged it again, maybe not
"Not sure if anything happened with his knees"????????? who the fuck is this clown! EVERYTHING has happened to his knees!
Brandon Roy leaves the Pacers game with a sore right knee.. http://www.twincities.com/sports/ci...es-brandon-roy-exits-knee-will-not?source=rss
Re: Brandon Roy leaves the Pacers game with a sore right knee.. We tried to tell everyone not to let him play high minutes, but nobody would listen. He can still be productive he just needs to accept a role, a smaller one for sure.
Re: Brandon Roy leaves the Pacers game with a sore right knee.. Incredible really - simply stupid. I and others have said as nauseum that when you are bone on bone there is no cure, yes those shots make you feel a lot better, but nowhere near enough for NBA level play and the NBA grind. Doctors told him the truth and he did not want to believe it, now (next several weeks) he will at least I think he will become convinced - lets at least hope there is some common sense there. Sad really, but I can't say I'm unhappy that Minny is now stuck with his contract!
Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda BRoy will not play tonight, says he hopes to get a good practice in tomorrow and intends to play Wednesday vs Charlotte
Jason Quick @jwquick Minnesota guard Brandon Roy will miss his third straight game tonight with right knee soreness.
I imagine Glen Taylor is feeling pretty pissed right about now that he let David Kahn talk him into throwing away $10 million of his money on a guy with no meniscus in either knee. BNM
It's sad really. Many in here was right about Roy; I wasn't one of them. It just sucks to see him go out like that. Wish he just would have stayed retired. On a lighter note... We get to see minny burn to the ground. There is some light. Maybe Roy was our double agent?
In the past, I used the Willie Mays stumbling around in the outfield in a Mets uniform analogy to describe Roy's comeback attempt. I didn't think it would happen so quickly, but it looks like that's the case - Roy returning to the city that drafted him, playing like a shadow of his former self. Sucks for Brandon, but Minnesota got what they deserved. BNM
Mags, we all have CHOICES, I'm not sad nor do I want to gloat, he should have stayed retired and he should again retire. Have to say I'm happy to laugh at Minny, especially after the Batum garbage.
