yeah percentage wise, they are 16% today and projected to be at 30% by 2050. Blacks are at 12.9% and projected to be at 13 at 2050. So if you were looking at numbers alone, it does make your point valid.

man I dont even like the idea of picking a candidate because of race, thought we were beyond that..

Well we live in a world were people vote on sexual preference and social issues. I would bet thousands of dollars that the economic state of the union is probably the last on the minds for the majority of the world. I mean Obama got re-elected. That says alot.

So I voted for Romeny (with my face hidden from public) because I thought he would be better for the economy. But why do you assume everybody thinks Romney would be good for the economy. I think many people voted for Obama because they didn't believe Romeny would be good for the economy.

Romney was proposing a tax cut of 20% across the board and balancing the budget with no specifics on how to do this. After reading Rebuplican takes on teh election, I'm wondering if I fell for political rhetoric by Romeny of promised tax cuts and balancing the budget.

Like I said on the other thread. The tax cut across the board was proposed to stimulate more in-house investments. It's an incentive for businesses to keep their investment money in the country. If taxes are too high; then that investment money leaves this country. So with higher taxes; you get more of the pie; but the pie is much smaller.

I understand this concept, but not everyone buys into this concept. You assume anyone who voted for Obama wasn't thinking about the economy, but that isn't the case. Many just didn't buy what Romney was selling.

Polls show that the economy was the number one issue for most voters.

Actually it was the relief of Sandy. I remembered it was 54% of the #1 reason in exit polls.

There are many polls out there. The ones I saw said the economy was the number 1 issue. There was also an exit poll that said about 70% had there mind made weeks before the election

just like you map on the other post. its easy to prove a fraction of a point with out being correct

Maybe after another 4 years of Obama blaming a sucky economy on Bush will simply make people want to change, no matter who either party runs.

Glen Beck is pumping fear into his sheep today.

With this health care, and "end of life care," this government has a program that will starve you to death.

    TO DEATH!
