An inconsistent, poor rebounding PF or a PG putting up numbers that Zeke Thomas put up as a rookie......LOL, this should end poorly

Aldridge. Its not very difficult to find talented combo guards these days, most teams have them. Its very hard to find athletic bigs who can score all over the place. If you had to you keep LMA and it wouldn't be difficult to find a comparable G to replace Lillard.

The problem is LMA isn't really an alpha type by nature, his defense isn't bad but not particularly good for a guy of his abilities, and, as mentioned, not a great rebounder.

No offense Fez (and I mean that), but I find it too narrow a poll. I like Lillard, but he's not near the player to build a team around. In actuality, the team needs to be built around several players- and LA should be one of those.

Have you watched lillard much? Do you think rose is a combo guard?

I find it funny that the same people who loved Sheed tend to hate LMA.

    Makes me question their BBIQ.

I love sheed and Lma. Two of the best and at the same most frustrating PFs in the league.

My question is why wasn't there a "Neither" option. I don't think either of these two are MVP-level players like a Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, or Tim Duncan.

Aldridge has a big name around the league. A GM would need no talent at all to trade him for a better big man. Only inertia is delaying what we know is coming.

I said LaMarcus. Talented bigs who can score from everywhere are tough to find. It's close though. Lillard is that good.

For all of his talent, and length, Aldridge really plays unphysically & predictably - not utilising the speed & length on defense, and on offense, his speed and agility are largely negated by being so predictable.
If he wasnt one of the sweetest jump shooters around he would be pathetic as a PF. Heck i'd rather have Hickson at PF than LaMarcus if we could find a scoring 2 guard to replace LMAs scoring. At least Hickson will box out, rebound and contest loose balls.

Lillard gets my vote because he has the killer attitude. See LaMarcus with his big grin on his face when something goes wrong, all mr cool. Conversely, when Lillard has something go wrong, you can see on his face that he's pissed, and you just know he's going to put it right. Big difference between the two there.

    Right now I'd choose Lillard.

Rasheed was better than LA in most facets of the game. He was a far better defender and post up player, better 3pt shooter. The only thing LA has on Rasheed is the mid range jump shot. I think the Blazers should start shopping LA, see what we could get for him.

A playoff team with a legit #1 option would be his best fit.

I'd look at Chicago and Mirotic/CHA pick.

Aldridge has the talent to be the best big man in the game..... but it seems like the only time he plays up to that talent is when he is pissed off, which is rarely.

I would look for a trade, but it would have to be a damn good one.
