Let it be remembered that Stotts used Babbitt at the end of reg in Cleveland too.

This reminds me of 2007-08 when we were on fire (7 of the games in the 13 game win streak) and in crunch time we had LMA at C, Outlaw at PF, and James Jones at the 3

The last two games/threads it took overtime to beat doormats.

I vote to ban HCP from starting game threads!

This GIF is so awesome. Stotts says get him the ball or more shots or whatever, then Babbitt faints to the floor. I can't stop watching it.

What the hell did I just see? I keep watching recordings of these games because I get home late, wow, we were dead in the water with 5 minutes left.

Lillard just changed the game from that point and Babbitt was ruthless.

Liked the way LMA and Freeland looked too.

Freeland has found his NBA stride, even Nolan is looking better, and Barton while wild at times has shown something as well, and Babbit can find a role I think if used right. I think Hickson loses the most minutes

Do not double team. Do not leave one of those guys open. Good luck.

Recipe for some very entertaining 140-135 games.

Babbitt's rebounding has always been a surprising strong point. Over the past ten games, here are the rebounds/48 numbers:
    Hickson: 13.3
    Babbitt: 12.7
    Aldridge: 10.8
    Leonard: 8.7
    Batum and Barton: 7.6
Freeland: 7.3 (that'll go up soon, I think)

    Yes!!!

Whatever one thinks of Babbitt, the other team cannot leave him open. Or Nico. Or Wes. Opens up the offense for Lillard and LaMarcus. Win or lose, it's fun.

Honestly though, LaMarcus can guard most centers/PFs. Batum can guard 1-3 depending on matchups. Wes is a good defender. Babbitt might struggle against some PFs, but they can't guard him either. Lillard's D, ok, not very good. But he's playing no matter who else is on the floor.

What's worse for our overall team defense, I wonder: Hickson trying to guard centers or Babbitt trying to guard PFs?

Yes, Babbitt has always been a good rebounder. He's the medium-sized fundamental when it comes to anticipation and getting position.

Moving LA to center would accelerate the process of him getting disgruntled and asking for a trade. LA wants to to PF period.

Babbitt just needs more minutes off the bench.

Then we simply play babbit at center and make LA guard whoever is better between pf/c on the other team.
