I think there should be certain guns that the general public shouldn't own or ever have access to. I also think it should be much harder for people to get guns. I'm not saying all guns, just certain guns. And the ownership of guns should be more regulated.
Although I doubt he would, Justin Bieber should address this and say "hey, idiots. I'm not more important than a tragedy. And if you think otherwise, please stop buying my music and stop considering yourself a fan of me or my music"
Where do you draw the line? I am torn on this one: That's a .50 caliber rifle. The rounds are the same ones that are used in military plane machine guns. Like to shoot down planes. I imagine some nutcase sitting on a hill overlooking an airport somewhere trying to shoot at airplanes. But there never has been a report of this kind of thing, and I think it would actually take a machine gun (vs. 1 shot) to take out a plane.
But wouldn't you rather have it be something else instead of guns? In the China case, the kids were only wounded because the guy didn't have easy access to a gun so he had to go with a knife instead, it's still a fucked up case but it's better than having dead kids.
What use does a Ferrari have vs. a Smart Car? People want it because they find it fun. I pointed out I'm not a fan of guns because I wouldn't find it fun. But I also don't judge what someone else might. As long as there's no crime being committed, where's the beef?
Why advocate banning guns if you don't even know what guns should be banned? Seems like a funny position to be taking is all.
Pro-gun folks are looking like total assholes. The "right" was made during the era of muskets. It needs an overhaul.
http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/uc...o-law-enforcement/expanded/expandhomicidemain This is actually a pretty interesting read
Especially the part where employers are almost twice as likely to kill their employees than vice versa. OH SHIT THAT'S VICTIMS... DAMN.
