I don't have to swim anywhere else, but at my house. Also, I paid a shit ton of tax for this fucking pool.

The reality is that everything in the world has been privatized with few regulations, houston used to build buldings with almost no regulations at all.

    They are completely superfluous.

key phrase here is "accurate assault rifle"

and while on single shot its ok at best, on three round its poor, on an auto setting you are just throwing lead around and making a lot of niose..

This is not from a book..

When, since 1879, have the citizens not had the right to bear arms?

There has been no incident of the government going from house to house in every place in every state in the nation taking peoples' guns because they could simply pass a law banning them.

At no point did the government or the courts decide that a militia was no longer required so the 2nd amendment could be voided out of hand (e.g. without a constitutional amendment).

Sure, the constitution is a living document, right? If you seriously believe this, then none of our rights are safe, period.

I didnt get it from a book. I am a big military buff. I love the "Stoner" series of guns. It is by far the most accurate assault rifle. The M-14 was a sick assault rifle too.

they haven't passed a law. I get that. Hence the discussion.
And if it's not a living document, why is it not then still just applicable to the white male property owners it was initially written for? Why the need to AMEND it.

Fortunately there are already real life examples, I've read a lot more about economics than you and the state has costly regulations.

Your arguments are illogical, for the same reason that plane regulations are illogical. Air traffic control is privatized in Canada because private individuals care about their air planes, we don't need the state to do it.

The Constitution doesn't matter, btw, it is just convenient that it concurs with Denny.

It HAS been amended. 17 times since the Bill of Rights. The 14th makes it not applicable to white male property owners anymore. That was almost 150 years ago.

Banning guns would be akin to prohibition. They passed an amendment to ban alcohol, then went about going from door to door in every place in every state confiscating everyone's alcohol and the facilities to make it.

Of course it does. I could easily kill you with my Fender Lead1, in fact I could take out a large crowd with it in a matter of seconds.

Same with a ballpoint pen. Or a garden rake. Or a wire coat hanger. Or a branch broken off a tree. Or a section of my fishing pole. Or a bicycle pump. Or a broomstick. Or a rock. Or a credit card. Or a flower vase. Or a can of gasoline. Or a bottle of bourbon. Or a tent stake or pole. Or a skate board. Or an eating utensil. I could do this forever, but you get the picture.

I could kill you with nearly anything in your current field of vision except your shadow, but you're probably afraid of that, too. :sigh:

Lucky for you that most people, including myself, would only kill someone in self-defense. Murder is a rare occurrence in America, and has fallen dramatically since the assault weapons ban expired.

Mass shootings are committed by crazy people, and early recognition and treatment programs would not only eliminate mass shootings entirely, but also turn would-be murderers into happy productive Americans.

If you really cared about the victims, you'd be screaming for a tax-funded government crusade to end mental illness in America. Instead, you go after nice people who had nothing to do with it.

I didn't go after anyone. And for one that believes that the gun requirements for getting a gun is fair; you are as crazy as those you want to crusade against.

Owning a gun is a priveledge. And with that comes responsibility. Just like driving a car.

And you can kill people with a pen, hands, gasoline, etc. But how quickly you can kill multiple people like a gun cannot be put in the same sentence. Sorry, but that argument is weak.

And the latest shooting was from guns owned by a gun advocate with a crazy child. If she found a way to lock the guns up properly; then maybe something like this wouldn't have happened at this scale. So yeah, I think proper training, license and registration and liability of those that would be responsible if used by someone not registered is in order.

Which, as those of us that studied our country's history know, caused an immediate increase in the availability of alcohol and death by alcohol. Oops.

This is fucking hilarious. You took a revised license and registration proposal and turned it into "Gun Banning". Obviously, you're reading comprehension skills are novice. Show me where I ever said we need to ban guns? In fact, look around and see that I fully support owning guns. What I find extremely scary is I went in and bought a handgun for home protection. Guess what I had to do? Fill out a form and wait for a 10-15 day background check. That's it! 15 days later, I was able to take home my .38 special. It was that easy.

I have a harder time trying to purchase furniture.

EDIT: If I wanted to buy a shotgun, the wait time was much faster too.

You went after all gun owners.

I don't believe the requirements for owning a gun are fair. I believe they are illegal.

"Shall not be infringed" is a very clear and unambiguous phrase.
