Proposed realignment - I like the new Pacific but it's a stretch to call Memphis and OKC "northwest".
what about "central" in the western conference, and the texas et al. "southern" or maybe just "Texas Et al."
If I remember right, Westbrook was drafted before the team left Seattle, but he never played a minute in Seattle. Regardless, some Sonics fans still claim him.
Not sure about the others, but they should cheer Collison pretty loudly. He was vocal about hating the move when it happened. I think he went on the radio talking about how he didn't want to go with he team to OKC. Apparently he still lives in Seattle too.

More info on the potential sale but it looks like more things are in the way. Source: http://blogs.sacbee.com/sports/king...eattle-and-possible-relocation-craziness.html Sport page of the Sacramento Bee...... http://www.sacbee.com/kings/#navlink=navdrop
That debt is staggering. Did they personally guarantee the debt? Are the Maloofs going to have to pay off the total debt with the $500 million? The amount they are said to have to pay off adds up to about $112 million. If the league wasn't interested in putting a team in Seattle, I wonder if the league would consider contraction and have the other owners buy out the Maloofs. With all that debt, it is kind of obvious why they would consider selling the team particularly since the economy in Vegas has taken a hit over the last few years. It's kind of funny to see teams with spendthrift owners like the Clippers doing so well right now and the Kings who have had very good owners until recently struggling so badly.
I think it would be very hard not to sell the team if they're in debt 200 million AND they're playing in a dump of an arena AND there's no real shot at getting a decent stadium there.
I thoroughly enjoyed our rivalry with Sonics during the Blazers Drexler/Porter and Sonics Payton/Kemp era. Bring the rivalry back! Let the city of Sacramento keep the Kings intellectual property and history. Hopefully the Seattle team would be able to reclaim the Sonics intellectual property and history.
Fuck Seattle and their smug attitude about being the best fans in the NFL. Hate the Mariners. Hate the Sea Scrubs. Hate the Sounders. Hate whatever team they add in the coming years. RCTID!
Ummm sure we will sell you our team, but we want to be able to tell you how to run the team. http://www.sactownroyalty.com/2013/1/10/3862244/potential-hang-up-in-kings-sale-to-seattle-maloofs-want-a-say-in-how
If they are still going to be minority owners then tell them they get a say. It will just be a minority say and they will get overruled all the time
