This win all but guarantees a loss tomorrow night. Wish I could make the game but can't get out of previous obligation . . . chances of us winning tomorrow night is something like 0.7% anyways.
I really like stotts even more with that inside trax on TNT. His words in timeout proves he doesn't give up; which drives his teams not to give up.
We have a top 5 PF, a top 5 SF, and a growing stud at PG. We're closer, in overall talent, than I think most of us thought, and I think the purgatory talk isn't relevant. Lillard looks more than capable of taking another step, and with that, we're depth away, not another star.
"Just go on another run!" He coaches them with positives. He tells them what to do, not what to stop doing.
We're not very mediocre lately. 12 wins in last 15 games. First round this year. More seasoned next season and we get in the second round. Too much up and coming talent to be stuck in mediocrity. Look at Thunder. Were they in purgatory when they got the 8th in first round? One step at a time, MM. We don't need another young player out of the draft. We need some growth from Batum and Lillard and more talent on bench using cap space.
Usually, yes. But, in this case we can get better by just staying together as our young players are still getting better. Also, we have cap space, which if properly used can really help.
Noticed this too. Barkley tends to grudgingly give praise to Blazer players, but there was no denying Nic's brilliance.
