i don't think this group has ever thought that if it's close, it's in the bag. Maybe the fans. Not the players.

He's not figured out. He hit the shot to tie the game and the shot to take the lead. He should've been taking the shot when we were down three. Should've run a play for him.

In case you haven't noticed, the shot he hit for the lead was one of the only times Cleveland didn't double him on the pick and roll. For most of the night they were doubling him on the pick and roll and he could not get anything going.

Also, it's halfway through the season but the Blazers still don't have a play for Lillard besides putting him in the high pick and roll....and leaving him on an island when he gets doubled.

Lillard is so over-rated right now. Irving is a much better PG. When teams double Lillard, he doesn't know what to do, and he rarely takes it to the rim when other teams put a bigger slower guy on him.

And Nic Batum...what's up with all the stupid passes?

Stotts is grasping at straws trying to solve the bench problem. As if playing Barton and Smith instead of Babbit and Price will help anything. Our bench goes a combined 2-18 tonight.

The Cavs are a one player team, but did you see the Blazers doubling Irving like teams have been doing to Lillard? Stupid coaching. They even collapsed in the 2nd half and tried to give us the game and we still couldn't win.

id actually prefer them to have confidence in close games, no?

but of course, id rather they had a huge lead by dominating early in the game...that should be the new game plan, win by alot

Um... Five days ago, Lillard scored 37 points in a game at the Oracle. Yeah, everyone's figured him out.

So he's been up and down and he is after all a PG and he had 7 or more assists in all of those games. That's above his average. Nothing has been figured out. Just sit back and enjoy the best rookie PG in over 20 years.

    So much hand-wringing.

I'm sure teams have started to figure Lillard out a little bit, but honestly you have to wonder if the rookie wall is coming early for him? He's played massive minutes and more games in a way shorter amount of time than he ever played at Weber State.

I think it's more Stotts not adjusting to how teams are playing Lillard.

For gods sakes run some plays that don't put Lillard in a situation where he's going to be doubled.

This team had me believing they could be a quality team, despite the terrible bench, but fuck it, they're not. They may as well tank for a lotto pick. I'm sinking back into not giving a fuck mode......
