Games over and Baltimore gots this one in the bag. It's pretty cool that the brothers will be coaching for the world championship! Keep it in the family!
Lewis goin' to the Superbowl......with blood on his hands. They never did find his suit that I know of.
Oh I remembered that; but he didn't murder. It wasn't him. So why would you say he has blood on his hands? He just obstructed justice.
That doesn't mean he is guilty of murder. It means he's responsible because he obstructed justice; which the family could sue him for.
I just find it quite interesting that everyone was acquitted, yet he lost 2 civil suits. Oh, well, none of us will ever know......you know, just like OJ.
The article is two years old but still a great read - http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1175724/index.htm
What if you were innocent and high profile on the murder? What if 10 million is all you have to pay to put this behind you; knowing you make that in half a season? Personally even if I was innocent; I would pay and avoid all the negative publicity.
in that case my lawyer will be contacting you about last week, when you raped me with a string bean (maybe it was your penis) I'm willing to settle for a bag of mushrooms
Hard to say. But, I'm still thinking, even if I were high-profile, and KNEW I was innocent, I still think I would fight it. It boils down to principles. I stand on those. That said, he admitted to lying to the authorities, perhaps that's why he buckled in the civil matters. All that said, he now claims to be a born-again Christian. I'm very happy for that. I still may think he has some bones in the closet regarding that incident in Atlanta, but God is a God of second, third, fourth, or more, chances. If Ray has come clean in his heart and with the families of the victims, that's all that really matters. /high-horse
