Didn't Nolan Smith score like 33 in the dleague a couple weeks ago?

Wow, seems like a great guy for the Nets. Probably too much of a tweener to make it in the pros though. 6'8" it said

There seems to be a lot of bashing going on, and I'm not sure why? You all like Leonard, and I hope he blows up and becomes a great defensive center that we need. I just think we should have taken Lamb, who I thought was the BPA at the time

and 59% from 3? interesting sample size of 3 games

in 14 games in the dleague he is shooting .462/.356

he very well might someday be an all star or whatever your kooky qualifier is for being a "solid" lotto pick, but for the love of god, just stop

I actually don't care about Leonard as much as many in here. I just think that the skin color and country shouldn't be a factor for who you should pick.

It shouldn't, unless you are a American born center

I think you are taking this too far. Lamb has looked good in D league. He have great size and athleticism for a two guard. That's it. Others have done well also, which I mentioned. So apparently you would take Nolan Smith over Jeremy Lamb? Using every word you say against you. I can see why you are having so much fun with this.

I like Meyers. He's goofy and affable. I don't believe we should have taken him when we did because of the past results of guys who are big white centers. Maybe Meyers is more athletic, or has a bigger drive, or whatever. You guys point out a lot of players who have been saolid. Cool. All I can think is Chris Mihm, Joel Przybilla, Joe Klein, etc.

I'd take a Joel Przybilla over a wing that will maybe average 14-16 PPG. There are a lot of those types of players out there. Doesn't every team already have at least least 1-2 of these types of wings as it is (I know OKC has several, that's why Lamb is in the D-League).

Now, considering I believe Leonard will be better than Przybilla.... It makes it that much more likely I'd prefer Leonard.

It's all opinions, so I'm not hating anyone else's opinion. Except MM's "he's a white American center."

Wasn't Lamb taken before Leonard? I can't remember - at the time I was trying to find trades where we could have gotten 3 picks, two being Lamb and Drummond and I know Drummond went before Leonard (duh).
