On a serious note (my rebecca black thread was obviously done in jest), John PM'd me saying that he was getting some heat about some things. I don't know if or when he'll be back, and for his sake it's probably better he lays low. Sucks for those of us who enjoyed his banter and sense of humor, but him doing whats best for him and his family (staying employed/having a solid reputation at work) is more important. I don't believe he's done anything wrong that we should worry about him, but we have to respect his decision in the matter. Maybe when things die down he'll come back. But from what he intimated to me, he doesn't know exactly when that'll be.
Hopefully it wasn't involving the comment he said to me... because I in no way thought he was serious at all.
I think it's more likely that he told Paul Allen he needed to grow the beard back than anything he said here. For fucks sake, we're a message board. Like they even pay attention to us.
Didn't HCP say his boss read this forum a year or two ago? Hope he isn't in a lot of trouble for some comments made in jest on a public forum.
