If you're jealous of the deal then root for Olshey to get this team a lot of cap flexibility and a lotto pick this summer; it opens up a lot of avenues for a lopsided trade.

Writing was on the wall after Roy started handling the ball so much.

Deal makes absolutely 0 sense for TOR. Lose a terrific big prospect and cap flexibility for yet another average and inefficient wing. Colangelo is an idiot.

I can't believe he's still wedded to Bargnani as some kind of franchise cornerstone.

His dad must be so proud.

Small error, really. Colangelo thought James Harden's nickname was Rudy Gay.

I think he made mention today, or recently, about the possibility of moving Bargs.

I am ecstatic right now. I would have been okay giving up Gay for far less. His contract was an albatross and whatnot, but really, he was killing our offense too.

Whenever they'd interview Z-Bo or Gasol after a good win, they'd always reference ball movement, a subtle jab at Rudy Gay. He never fit in with the core and was really a blackhole that looked for his own shot first. These past two seasons, he's been like Joe Johnson from the ISO-Joe days.

I'm also hoping that playing for a contender might breath a little life into Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye. I'm concerned with what speeds was saying about Ed Davis being distraught with the deal though. If anything, I was expecting him to be excited to play for a contender as well. Maybe it's just shell shock from being involved in his first NBA trade, but what could you tell me about his mental state, speeds?

You are happy that they traded arguably their best player and only got that in return?

"Arguably their best player?" I don't think that anyone who's gotten a chance to watch the team would actually argue that Gay was their best player, or even close to it.

I'd argue he was one of their worst. He's addition by subtraction.

This also means that the Grizzlies can resign Tony Allen in the offseason, a player that's been far more important to the team's success.

He's a T-pups fan, they breed 'em kind of slow up there in the North Woods.

Hey, just because I'm new doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about. You probably couldn't even break down the triangle offense like I can.
