    If he legitimately feels like Portland can only support one pro team, then yes, he is.

    I don't agree, btw, that Portland can only support one team. That's complete bullshit.

    What am I missing here about Paul Allen... why is a man who is worth $15 bill worried about competition from a NHL franchise?

    He has less than 5% of his net worth tied up in the Blazers organization...

    That's the word on the street... not sure why honestly. I was always led to believe that he just wasn't interested in the NHL.
