Eh.... I think it contributed, but how is that any worse than letting the Ravens score on the opening kickoff? There were so many mental errors that it's hard to pinpoint one. Also, I'd like to point out that the reason why he fumbled was because they hit him in the head.

That will not be easy considering the Seahawks are in the same division and are just as loaded as the 49'ers.

Mamba, where did you get that video of the woman in red from? Is that from a movie or something?

How is that wishful thinking? I'm not a Seahawks fan and I agree with him.

I don't know if its been discussed in here or not because I haven't read the whole thread. But, as soon as I saw that intentional safety I was thinking about how many people got screwed over by taking the 4 or 4.5 spread when the lead when from 5 to 3. Ouch. That's a tough one to swallow.

It was SF that was favored by 4 - 4.5.

I think the Niners' offense is superior in virtually every way, except for maybe running back.

I think Kap is a better QB (not by a ton, but I still think he's better)

I think our line is better.

I think we have better receivers.

Lynch is probably a better RB than Gore at this stage in his career.

Honestly, I think it's the Niner defense that needs upgrading. The secondary has been awful.

I think Kaep is a little better than Russell Wilson right now, but it's close. Kaep definitely has the higher ceiling.

Crabtree is good, but who knows who will be next to him next year and AJ Jenkins hasn't done anything

Lynch is one of the best RB's in the league right now and I expect Gore to regress (said that last year too, though) and who knows what you get out of James or Hunter.

Vernon Davis is awesome, Zach Miller is good though.

The Niners really need some cornerbacks. The Seahawks have three good ones. Carlos Rogers really fell off this year. If I were the Niners I'd throw a 2nd, 4th and Smith offer to the Jets for Revis. Who cares if you can only keep him one year. The Niners had Deion for one year too and they won the Super Bowl with him.

Bottom line is both teams are built with tons of talent and some great defenses (one with better linebackers, the other with a better secondary) and I'd expect a hell of a battle for the NFC West with Seattle and San Francisco.

If I'm Denver or Houston I have to feel good because the NFC has so many teams like the Seahawks, Niners, Falcons, Packers etc that will have the chance to beat each other up next year in the playoffs.

I'm pretty sure a younger Frank Gore would have scored on that run at the end of the game, rather than be tackled on the ten yard line or wherever he was.

I think Russell Wilson is much better than Kaepernick. His QBR would indicate so.

    LOL, of course you do.

Kap is five inches taller, he's every bit as good a runner, and he can throw a 97 mph fastball (which means has has amazing arm strength).

Why exactly do you think Wilson is a "much better" player than Kap?

Kaep has the physical tools to be much better than Wilson.

Wilson has the "it" factor, is incredibly smart and is one of the hardest workers in the game right now.

Wilson definitely isn't "much better," but who knows, the kid has been an underdog his entire career.

I'd put my money on Kaep having the better career, but Wilson does continue to defy odds.
