How sold on Zeller over Noel are you? Not hating, just curious when people offer this POV.

Noel is a very good defender at Center. He is strong, athletic, smart, plays excellent team defense, blocks a lot of shots and grabs a lot of rebounds. He's a bit undersized, that's why I compared him in another thread to Ben Wallce, I think he's a bit taller than Wallace.
Zeller I haven't got a chance to really see in action.

I've also seen Isaiah Austin and while he could be an interesting prospect, I would like him more if I picked him in the 20's/2nd round than if I took him in the top 10. I think that's a bit of a reach.

Michael Carter Williams is long, athletic and has Point-guard skills but I wouldn't take him this high. Burke is a favorite of mine for a while and I think he's at least top 10. Pothyeress could be bottom of the lottery, solid but unspectacular player, definitely not top 3. Archie Goodwin is also OK, I guess, him and Potyheress are Kentucky's back-court but it's not like they're that good a team even with Noel's interior defense. The other players I haven't seen yet.

Zeller is a franchise player offensively and is a good, not great, but good defensive player. Forget about Zeller's alligator arms, his footwork, wirey strength and movement without the ball makes up for it. Noel is a great defender with amazing bounce, but his offensive game is non-existant and he shows absolutely no touch which makes me think that he doesn't have much room for improvement offensively.

As of now I'm not a huge Austin fan. He's a legit 7 footer that weighs only 220lbs (that might be generous). He needs to stay and school and put a little weight on. The NBA game will abuse him and he'll be a several years until he can compete from a physical standpoint. Give him long hair and he's Brittany Griner.

    Noel, Goodwin, Poythress, Cauley-Stein.

It makes me wonder if these guys aren't just getting hyped because they are burger boys and Calipari got them to Kentucky. Poythress impresses me, but the others are kind of over-hyped. This is a Kentucky team that isn't even going to make the tourney.

    My early favorite prospects:

    #1) Cody Zeller
    #2) Trey Burke
    #3) CJ McCollum

But we win the tough games- Houston twice, San Antonio, Memphis, New York, Miami, Clippers, Nuggets, Pacers, Utah to name a few. It's the bad teams that our losses have been. So a "tougher" schedule should make us feel very comfortable and at home.

    McCollum. Meh.

You like these undersized, tweener, guards. I like Burke, too. Only if we have a pick past 10.
