http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bulls/print?id=11993 This was the first thing I was thinking about after seeing the boxscore this morning. Get Noah some more rest. Even if he is out some weeks.
I'm sooo confused. The initial stories 4 or 5 days ago came from the angle that Noah was being smart about the plantar fasciitis this time around and wouldn't try to play through it. Now it all seems to be about trying to see if he can play through it. Meanwhile, Thibodeau is a broken record saying that his guys will only play when they're completely healthy. I'm no doctor, but as I understand it, plantar fasciitis is an inflammation issue and I've never heard of inflammation being relieved by intense activity. The only thing I'm sure of is that, if the Bulls are going to make a serious run in this year's playoffs, they'll need a healthy Noah almost as much as they'll need a healthy Rose.
It is really confusing. Yes, Noah also need to be healthy. So let us hope that he will get a good share of rest. Perhaps until early March to be sure that he come back at full health.
I don't want him to play through it. I'm so sick of injuries - Deng, Rose, and now potentially Noah? Just the thought of losing another core piece is just...no. No way. Sit, Noah.
