What do you want? I thought it was french title you objected to? You don't like Kingspeed or something? You don't want your posts near his? We don't need two game threads. This seemed like a good compromise.

well, for starters I already fixed it by creating a new thread that people were posting in.

Secondly, I think the fact that we've had the alternating capital letters/lowercase letters long enough and the french thing was just kind of a "attention whore" thing.

it's a game thread. it doesn't need to be anything more than that.

but most of all, it's because I already had fixed it. You didn't need to edit it after I had already done it. Twice.

I get that you like to be a little funny, or pseudo confrontational (in a sarcastic tone), but you'll notice that this thread had more views and posts than his did AND people saying they'd rather post in this one (and I know I'm not the only one who grew tired of the subject headings. And YES I know it's petty, but for fucks sake, it's a message board about a basketball team where we bitch about the stupidest things in the world. That is the definition of petty. And yes I know that by doing this people who if you asked them deep down inside would agree with the "it's getting tiresome" to see those headings, will bitch and complain and act like I've violated the Geneva convention or erics freedom of speech).

You didn't fix anything. All you did was create a new thread. Twice. Fixing it would have either editing King's original title. Which I did. Or merging the 2 game threads and using the best thread title. Which I did.

The problem I have with what you did is now people see a mod creating a new game thread when they don't like the current one. If HCP doesn't like a game thread that Darkwebs creates hell he'll just make a new one because he saw a mod do it.

I fixed the problem by creating a game thread that people can look at and go "oh hey, a game thread". and instead of having it in a French, it's in English. And people already, in the thread, commented they would rather post in that one instead.

The problem I have with what you did is now people will see a mod joking about how he just edited what another mod did, when they didn't like what they did. If you can just edit what I did, or change it, why the fuck don't you change things when other threads that should be combined?

Seems kind of like you purposely chose this one because of who started it, instead of seeing that things were OK. YOU made it worse by changing things, joking about it (and not mentioning it to me in a PM or anything) instead of just letting that thread do what it was going to do, and die a quiet death.

I combine threads all the time. I did it with three threads today in the OT section. I'm not picking on you. I'm not singling you or Kingspeed out. He created a game thread. I saw that you created a game thread because you didn't like the title of his game thread. So I merged yours and his game thread and edited the title so it read half in French and half in English. You didn't like that so you created a 3rd game thread. What did you want me to pm you about? Stop creating game threads? So to put an end to this nonsense I merged your thread with the previously edited and merged game thread but I left your thread title. But still for some reason that's not acceptable to you. So you undo the merges and re-edit King's original thread title into something rude.

We just need one game thread. It's not that big of a deal.

I didn't edit it to something rude, I didn't have quick access to the title.

I changed it back to what he wrote, so that way everything is kosher.

My point remains the same. Why not just leave it be since I had already dealt with it.

And again, how is creating a second thread dealing with it? Like I've carefully explained, that's a bad precedent to set. Edit King's thread title if you feel it's unclear and will cause confusion. Starting multiple new threads with different titles only adds to the confusion and invites others to do the same when they don't like a thread title.
