anyone see the tweet from Chris Hayes about how the NBA and the Blazers are showing "mutual" interest in having the ASG in Portland?

If they had it here, they should utilize the convention center for some of the stuff.

Man I would so love it just for the experience. I would find anyway I can to get there. Just seems so unlikely. I always thought I read Portland wasnt a real possible destination because as (I think you) mentioned not a lot to do and I thought there wasn't very good Hotels or something like that. Plus the weather is a crapshoot. I know it is indoors, but still.

I think the only reason is hotel space, which seems like a rather lame reason.

As for things to do, they bring in shit to do. It's not like the players go out and do things in the cities, outside of parties. Which like I said, those are done anywhere.

Yup I agree, but whatever. Hopefully sometime soon. Would just be fun to go to these events and cheer on all star homeboys Aldridge and Lillard on. ;)

James White's dunk was more impressive than Green's and Ross'. He got jipped cause it looked too easy. Two hands double clutch from barely inside the free throw line? These judges are retarded.

Whoever thought of this "event leader board" thing should be kicked in the nuts.

Three years ago Terrance Ross was in the Street Jam dunk contest along with two of my good friends. It's crazy that he's in the NBA dunk contest finals now, hope he wins.
