I actually dig on zags; but he knows his shit. I would even admit he knows more than I would ever know about draft prospects.

Have the utmost respect for MM too.

As long as you clarify that it's only "an opinion"

I don't know what was more fun to read, the pro LMA vs LMA is overrated and not actually very good, or RoyToys comments egging on the two sidea.

Yeah RoyToy was doing a fine job egging us on!

But I may seem to be a LMA lover. I am definitely a fan! But my reality is LMA is a good player. A Robin to a Batman. He is needed for success for this ball-club; as long as we have the Batman. I definitely think he is far superior than Hickson.

What I don't get is the anti-lma peeps. They totally ignore anything "pro lma" and overstate his deficiency.

Also, there is one anti-lma guy here that is a HUGE batum fan and defends him to no end. I find it seriously contradictory and stubborn.

Personally, I love almost every player on this team; definitely the starting 5. I think it's strange that there is a fan of this team, but more of a fan of getting rid of a certain player. I don't know if you noticed, but we won against Boston. I came in after the game and I read the threads before catching up with the game. I actually thought we were down big by all the negativity said about certain players. Blazer fans are really strange....

I'm a big LMA fan and this year is all about people trying to figure out how to make the team better, and LMA is really the only good trade chip we have. There are a few who seem to underrate and almost hate lma and there are those of us who overrate him and that's just part of fandom.
This losing streak really seemed to bring people down and the Laker game was so bad it seemed to have lingering effects. As much as losing might be good for us in the longterm, Its in no way fun to watch happen and the lackluster performance this team gave during almost every game the last two weeks seemed to feed any flames of anger people had about certain players and/or coaches.
The thing that always has to be remember is that even if Blue9/Fez(or anyone else) seems to want LMA gone with a passion, that doesn't make them any less of a fan then you or me Mags who love the fact LMA plays for the Blazers.

I never said they weren't a fan though. Fez/blue9 are just delusional! We can have delusional blazer fans! ;)

I think that if JJ were down with signing a long-term deal, i'd probably be OK with Aldridge being traded for a legit starting center and scoring guard.

Since the big knock on Aldridge seems to be he takes too many fade away jumpers I wonder if anyone has access to some advance stats that show what his shooting percentage is on those fade away jumpers.

True. I just factored most his fade aways were from that distance.

LA is average at best on the defensive end, and that's half the game.

I've seen him take several in the 10-16 feet range. Mostly on the left block.
