I see they're 5-1 in preseason. I'm more of a Braves follower/fan, so was just curious.

    No.

Spring training means nothing. And I am not a Mariners-hater.

    Go Giants.

2 of 3 hoez. It's good to be on top. Wouldn't know that as a Blazers fan. Used to bending over.

no but they could in a few years if taijun walker and danny hultzen develop. those 2 with felix could be nasty in the playoffs with a 3 man rotation

Mariners don't have the total talent in the Majors, nor in the system. They need an injection of talent and chemistry. Then they'll have even a chance.

Their system is actually pretty damn awesome. 2nd or 3rd, depending on if you like Baseball America or ESPN.

But they're not ready for WS this year. If EVERYTHING goes well, they might be able to get to the BAL/Oakland 2012 level. I think having legit MLB bats in the middle of the order will help, also.

One thing, they should be much more entertaining.

    Yawn.

They've been saying that for years. As someone who follows the minors more than the majors.... Their guys will flame out, just like they've done the last decade.
