Batum, too. Black father and white mother. In my day, you had mixed parentage if your father was Catholic and your mother Protestant.
In my parents' day, you had mixed parentage if your father was from Klamath Falls and your mother from Lakeview.
Aside from all of the other idiocies about making this thread, this sorta falls into the category of "shit you should know from being a basketball fan." How do you not know that Joakim is Yannick Noah's kid? The guy was a very famous athlete/musician in his own right, and they talked about it ad nauseum during Florida's two title runs and brought it up constantly throughout his first few years in the league. Blake Griffin's parents have also been all over the media since his days at Oklahoma. You couldn't watch a game in his two years there without seeing his parents in the crowd. Hell, the guy won the Wooden Award. I know most of you guys are almost strictly NBA fans, but how can you be so unaware of the collegiate game to never see the Wooden Award winner and lock for the #1 pick at least once before he played for the Clips? Joakim and Yannick even both have the same gap-toothed smile - Joakim's sister got some looks though.... BTW - To prevent another stupid thread about some shit like Faried's lesbo guardians or Noah's race, Stephen and Seth Curry are both light skinned, but they're both black. They're just some light skinned brothas from a light skinned motha... and Austin Rivers is mixed.
Nobody's disparaging the guys because of their parents. It's not like they're half polish or something important.
