I'd ask for a first rounder too. I'm probably one of the biggest Aldridge supporters on this forum but I would do that deal. Sanders is an absolute monster and is a multi time DPOY waiting to happen.
If Sanders could shoot like Redick than maybe it would be worth it. We need to add a guy like Larry without giving up our offensive centerpiece in the process.
Sanders is a huge defensive centerpiece. As in he can make your shitty defense good for the next decade. He's going to be Ben Wallace good on that end. Book it.

Back in 2008 when I was going to all the road games, I waited for the players to come out after and I remember after one game when I was devastated that we lost, Aldridge came out smiling ear to ear like nothing had happened. It was disturbing.
Finally, people are starting to see that LA is just a pussy. Fez and I have been calling for him to be traded for weeks. Hickson should be our PF going forward, trade LA for more pieces. Hopefully a defensive center.

I disagree with your view on LA but I'd move LA in the right deal but I shudder at thinking of paying Hickson 8+ a year. Would much rather offer millsap 4/40.
You could make that happen. Trading Aldridge for Sanders/Redick wouldn't affect our cap space. We could still go out and sign Milsap or Jefferson or whomever you want. Doesn't have to be Hickson.
Finally seems like people are starting to see Aldridge for what he really is. A soft player who is sporadic with his concentration and effort, and to top it off, as Kingspeed noted, doesn't seem to get too upset after losing. He's always been that way, and I think it's not a good culture to have for our young team going forward. I'd rather see it built around guys who play like they give a damn - like Lillard, Hickson and Matthews. Even worse, the absolute pits is Batum. That guy used to be my favorite player - but he has been absolutely disgraceful with his effort lately. We need to shed these two posers for some guys that are more interested in winning, or at least have the pride to put in a yeoman like work effort (like Hickson).
