He shot 39% from the floor and 32% from 3 in December. I'm sure some kind of excuse can explain this in your world.

The entire season over 50% of his shots have been 3PA. Damn that Nate McMillan.

The guy shoots jumpers and he's either on or off. Nic tends to be a streaky player.

He's the 2nd highest paid Blazer because Lillard's on a rookie contract. Pretty silly thing to consistently bring up.

At least Batum hits big shots down the stretch and is our most versatile defender. Aldridge puts up his pussy face up 18 foot fade away down the stretch of games and disappears. I swear the past 20 or so games the guy hasn't done shit for us down the stretch of games. The guy disappears instead of using his length.

Nope, just one excuse. If his shooting wrist is hurt, it would explain his shooting woes, no?

What part of his body did Aldridge injure to prevent him from rebounding the ball?

Do you see Wesley using injuries as an excuse? The guy probably shouldn't be out there and yet he's shooting over 50% from 3 in 5 games this month.

Nic is either the most fragile player of all-time or mentally soft.

Should be just consider Batum soft from now on?

Well I would assume you need a hip to position yourself for a rebound, no?

I don't think Batum is being paid to be the second option. Blazers offered Hibbert millions more than Batum. If Blazers got him, was he going to be the second option this year?

Funny how the wrist is an integral part of shooting, whereas the ankle is not....

Centers absolutely come with a tax. Which explains why Aldridge is paid more. You haven't noticed this?

I don't know. Curious how rapidly a player can come out of surgery and be monster? How long do you think it takes?

Talking about 'shooting like shit' and not pointing out that Aldridge is the least efficient starter on the team is pretty disingenuous.

Bringing up the Batum is just deflecting. I don't think Aldridge sucks, I just think he plays like a pussy. I think a few of the trades proposed on here are very good ideas. The Horford one would be awesome, the Monroe one I like a lot. I'd probably even do the Sanders/Redick one.

Yeah you don't use your legs to shoot the basketball at all..........

    Or your elbow.........

Nic is just mentally soft. It's his Frenchness.

So Batum should be the #1 option when factoring in tax?

My point is they don't just offer the most money to the #1 option, second most money to the #2 option and so forth.

Batum was asked to play more of an overall type game this year. Whether he has done that is debatable, but I doubt he was matched to be the #2 option on the offense.

Some fans defend a player like he's their best friend. At least I understand why HCP is a homer, the guy works for the team, but I don't understand why any talk of trading Aldridge is immediately met with hostility and name calling.
