Laugh all you want now, but Sanders is a monster. Future DPOY and only 24 years old.

Would be a dream scenario. I'd trade anything except Lillard.

You would ask for more than just Sanders, obviously.

Heh, I counted too out of curiosity and had 9. They faked the double a few times too though so that might be what you counted. Either way my math for 10 per game is looking pretty good in this all telling one game sample size.

Obviously the reason it's not more is you get too predictable if you send the double every single time

For the record you were all for trading LMA in a package for Sanders and filler in this thread as well. You added to the train wreck so to speak.

I personally don't see POR trading LMA at all but that doesn't mean I wouldn't consider it depending on the return. I probably would wait 1 more year to see how this team grows first before considering it heavily though.

    That's a good deal though.

Oh and I said we'd have to get millsap or it would suck. Others said hickson would be fine

Good game by Aldridge, but I don't understand why it has to be either "aldridge hater" or "aldridge lover"... Is there anyone saying he's not a good player? I'm merely saying that he's our best trade chip and we have some holes that I would like to fill, namely a defensive center. Larry Sanders is a really good, young, talented defensive center. Obviously we're not going to replace LMA, but if we signed Milsap or Jefferson, he would be a decent replacement while filling a huge need at center.

After watching the game last night, I actually think nic is the player we could get good value in return. He will get us the best player in return. Has all the "potential" and "what ifs" needed to totally get the star back.

You don't use your best trade chip on Larry freaking Sanders and "filler".

Back to the point of this thread, though, the worst thing you can call any athlete is a "quitter". That set the tone for the thread.

Do you ever watch other teams? Why is it not possible that another player is actually really good?

I remember a couple years back, you balked at a proposal of Travis Outlaw for Kyle Lowry. Well, now Lowry is a starting calibre point guard and Outlaw is on his way out of the league.

Getting sanders to pair with Aldridge would be a home run! It would be the best possible offseason acquisition for this team. Only way it's successful is if we have Aldridge or bring in a millsap to pair with him.

Regardless, Milwaukee probably thinks just as highly of him than anyone else we have on our roster. I doubt Utah will lose millsap either.

The issue with counting ONLY the Memphis game is LMA actually had his ass in the post, where we want him and where is is supposed to be. This year he has been floating and taking that 18-foot jumper. LMA has all the talent in the world.... he usually plays like a wuss until someone calls him soft (like Z-Bo did last night) - then he mans up and plays in the post.

The other thing LMA did last night that he has not been doing most of the year was he actually ROLLED to the basket after the pick. 85% of the time he goes for the POP.

Want LaMonster back? Bring back Andre Miller and Rudy Fernandez.

Also, he's made a significant improvement in a specific facet his game in each and every single off-season since he was drafted. There's no reason why we can't expect him to continue to focus and work hard to improve this summer.

I'm not arguing anything yet, Wook, but what would Andre and Rudy do that Damian and Wes (or Batum) can't? Entry passes? Lobs? Spreading the floor?
