Haven't looked into it yet, figured I would after throwing it out there to everyone else. But, watching the Denver game on ESPN right now, and Koufos has me thinking about our need at C, and what route we go. Generally, we like to look at big names/players to fill those spots, of course. But those guys aren't always available. Meanwhile, guys like Koufos tend to bounce around, it seems. At least, he has. And he's always been a somewhat similar player, just now getting more opportunity. He's someone who can fill a spot for 25 minutes a night, and give you solid play. Someone like that, with development of Leonard and addition of a different backup could be a more likely alternative. So....any ideas??
Do you think Denver would rather keep McGee or koufos? It seems they like koufos more. I would rather have koufos than McGee.
Not worried about numbers, worried about effect on the team. 10 and 10 can look great, but would you have kicked the door down for Kris Humphries last season?
Here's a list of players 6'10" or above, with decent block and rebound percentages that aren't already 35 mpg players. Contains most of the same names that have been bandied about here for a while. Curious about Greg Smith from Houston; I know nothing about him.
