So the guy who took 2 jumpers, to 11 possessions down at the rim is a pussy. But the guy who took 14 of 21 FGA as jumpers isn't? Come the fuck on Mags. I'm tired of your ridiculous hyberbole. Aldridge's jumper was on tonight, way above his average, and he took alot of shots. Monroe on the other hand took the ball into the paint with his faceup dribble drive, where he finished well or found his teammates. How's that completely made up assertion that all of Monroe's inside looks are off of putbacks and garbage plays Mags? Or the one where he's just a perimeter player?
Monroe makes his teammates better by passing them the rock. The 22 year old had a ho-hum game and still almost sniffed out a trip-doub.
Dude scored on 3 plays designed for him. The other points were either from broken plays, foul shots and put backs. Aldridge definitely didn't play from the perimeter. He played strong and aggressive. Yes I am using hyperbole. I admit it. But the reality is Monroe isn't even close to the polished player like Aldridge. Nothing hyperbole about that. Oh and Monroe's d was awful btw.
He had one assist more than Aldridge!!! Hahahahahahahaha.. Aldridge had 6 more boards than Monroe and 16 more points.
Someone's stats are off me thinks: http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400278704 And I just want to reiterate that LMA had a great game. No hate from me at all.
An off game for the 22 year old. Monroe averages more on the season, averages more assists and scores plenty, but does it more efficiently. He scored 16 more points because he took double the amount of shots. More importantly, he's a 22 year old who's only going to get better.
Well I'm glad management doesn't agree with you. They would laugh their asses off if you said Monroe for Aldridge!
Why did Aldridge choose this game to bang his chest into the thicket a few extra times? It's obviously because he or a helper read this board. What a coincidence. It was against Greg Monroe. If you made $15M per year, wouldn't you pay someone minimum wage to collect your clippings and glue them into a photo album? He's well aware of this board's debate about him vs Monroe.
Monroe scored 2 of his 5 makes on the Pick and roll, and the other 3 on dribble drives, with 6 of his 8 FTA coming off of drives as well. Not a single made FG was on putbacks or garbage plays, and only 2 FTA came off of getting a rebound and trying a put back. Again, they're close in terms of production on the year, but Monroe is younger and makes way less during this offseason. Refer to my previous post about the trade not even needing Monroe to be better than Aldridge for the scenario to be successful. And Aldridge's D wasn't any better tonight either btw.
