I have actually come around a little on Bron and the Heat, but still I wanted them to lose. Only modern day club I want to see break 33 are my Blazers.
33 in a row, the spanking-new Walton Gang sophomores, and national championships at both pro and college levels. As a rookie basketball fan in Southern California, I was spoiled. And hooked.
LeBron's post-game interviews were gold. Denial, bitterness, and sadness... you could tell the streak meant a lot more to him than he was leading on before the loss. I wonder how this moves the lines in Vegas for the Spurs game...
No one in the league can beat Miami 4 out of 7 times unless Bron is injured. They've got the title locked up for the next two seasons at least. I was resigned to that fact in the summer of 2010, so I can't really hate them. They're amazing to watch.
I actually don't mind Lebron. It is Wade that bugs me. I blame the refs. As a rookie they gave him every call. He got spoiled. Since then he has complained on almost every play that does not go his way.
