The Video wasn't funny and he spent the past few days backtracking on his positions. Overall he got pwned, he should stick to living off the 90's.

As usual, you are dead wrong. I was a Democrat for years. I couldn't take the lies. The mantra for dems is that the end always justify the means. Then I switched to the GOP but found myself disagreeing with them too much.

So I learned that neither side had all the answers and rather than blindly following a political party because my union or church... told me to, even when I know they are wrong (like you do and other sheep), I became a registered independent and adopted the idea that I would think for myself. I found it to be intellectually more honest and I don't have to bow down to any party. To be able to objectively look at both sides of an issue and make up my own mind with honesty is an incredible feeling. It's a shame you cannot experience that. It really is.

And as for Rush. I tried his show about 10 years ago and thought it was a bunch of crap. Like you, he's a complete sheep and I have no use for dishonest people.

And here's something that may shock you even further- In most elections I vote about 60/40 between the two parties. I look at the position, the current political disposition for what they will have influence on and then vote for the best person. I know radical thoughts like that have never entered your mind, but you'd be amazed at how being honest with yourself can change your entire outlook on life for the better. Like you, rather that hating, I have learned to respect others. Sheep are haters by their very nature and I have noticed by your posts that hate is your driving force in life. I actually have great sympathy for you. Maybe some day you will find a better way.

cool story bp, too bad they are on the same side of the argument most of the time. Youre a gray sheep, but still part of the flock, don't kid yourself.

Gawd, you seem like such a political renegade...

You don't know anything about what influences my political leanings so save yourself some time and energy and don't make assumptions about it.

    "Funny or Die"

Based on the numbers for Burt Wonderstone, I think Carrey's career just died.

Remember when he used to get $20m a movie?

I will add another Carrey movie I liked. The Truman Show was good as a sociological thriller.

I didn't even know he was in that movie, and I thought it looked stupid because of Steve Carel.

You know, I did like it, but not in a 'wow, that was amazing' way, but it was watchable after his tank job on his career. Man on the Moon blew me away, as did The Truman Show. The Majestic was shit, though, and he hasn't recovered from that bit of Hollywood propaganda, Eternal Sunshine maybe being the exception.

He has some interesting points. His best work was written under his pseudonym, Mary Rosh.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Lott#Media_bias_and_defensive_gun_use

In 2002, he repeated the study, and reported that brandishing a weapon was sufficient to stop an attack 95% of the time. Other researchers criticized his methodology, saying that his sample size of 1,015 respondents was too small for the study to be accurate and that the majority of similar studies suggest a value between 70 and 80 percent.[32] Gary Kleck and Marc Gertz's 1994 estimate rises to 92 percent when brandishing and warning shots are added together.[33] Lott explained the lower rates found by others was at least in part due to the different questions that were asked.[34] The other surveys all asked people to recall events over the previous five years, while Lott had only asked people about events that had occurred during just the previous year. Lott used the higher estimate because it accounted for his claim of media bias. The survey questions have also been made available for years to anyone who would have liked to replicate the survey themselves.
