Sounds like Zeller will enter the draft. New Conference in a few hours. Projected top 10, this could help someone else slide to us......... the more the merrier.

Of the players POR may have the chance to select at\around\after #12:

I like Muhammed or Porter if they slipped to #12 or if they were around #9-10 and POR could trade up for reasonable cost to get them.

I like Dieng's defense abilities and he has a nice jumper for pick n pop

McCollum is impressive as a scorer and could be good backcourt tandem with Lillard, reminiscent of Francis\Mobley

I like Deshaun Thomas if he is there is the 2nd round as kind of a Carl Landry type bench player.
I was impressed with Siva's quickness and athleticism, as a b\u PG possibility, another pick and roll player.

You can't argue with Dieng's stats and he fills a need, I just was never really impressed with him personally, I was more impressed with someone like Patric Young for example but he's returning. I can see how Dieng is the next Ibaka, just not sure about it.
Cody Zeller reminds me of Brook Lopez, also in the way they were projected to go very high then their stock dropped because they're soft.
Two players I really really like we probably wouldn't pick because they're point-guards: Burke and Siva. They could also be gone by the time we pick.
Muhammed I liked, reminded me a bit of a poor-man's Harden, then discovered that 1 APG statistic, man - that Has to hurt his stock. He could actualy be available at our pick.
I would also like to mention Withey again, if you want to go for a safe pick, someone that will give you steady inside-play, he's your guy. His BPG number also helps his stock a lot.
McGarry I wouldn't take, I don't like him underacheiving throughout the season and don't like him fumbling so many balls in the final.
Don't like Tim Hardaway jr. hope we're not going to reach for someone like him just because we need a SG. I like Glen Robinson more than Hardaway on that team and Burke is better than both.

Unless you're drafting for the NBDL, you'll have no problem getting Siva in the second round.

I would be surprised if he falls to us and very sad if we don't take him.

Peyton Siva at #12? He's likely to go in the late second or undrafted...

Would be surprised if he falls to the 2nd round. I would be happy if we take him at 12 but don't think they do it considering we have Lillard, possibly Maynor.
If he's available with our 2nd rounder, he's easily BPA.

Is he considered a sG? I think he could be an ideal pairing with Lillard.

Watch Siva in the last play of the 1st half, between 1:17 and 1:33 in the video.. Also, watching the Video made me think about Luke Hancock, I can see him as a Shane Battier type.

Siva is another Maynor, Burke is another Lillard.

Something tells me we should take at least one of them, Burke will probably be gone by #12. Siva will be gone by the time we pick in the 2nd round.

He's projected undrafted by pretty much every mock draft, except for nbadraft.net, which has him #51. What makes you think he'll be gone by the time you pick in the second round (#39 and #46)?

The reality is that Siva's not a good shooter, he's a shitty decision maker, a gambling defender, and he gets most of his baskets by taking his man off the dribble or through Louisville's press - two things he won't be able to do in the NBA.

He'll have a good career in Europe though.

I say he'll have a good career in the NBA. For a 2nd-rounder/undrafted, he'll have an exceptional career.

I do remember Indiana picking Paul George late in the lottery and everyone was like what? Paul who? and I saw his highlight film and immediately liked that pick.

He went exactly where he was projected to go for months. In hindsight, it was a great value pick, but no one was surprised.
