    If you thought it couldn't get any worse in Blazerland, the Lakers just beat the Warriors 118-116 and probably secured a spot in the playoffs.

    No, I think they just have to stay one win ahead of Utah. If Utah loses their last two games, then LA can lose their last two games and still make it.

    If only we'd played Hickson. It would have won us that close game, and the Lakers would have been denied their championship.

    Could this be the end of his career?

    You know, here's what irritates me. Every time in history the Lakers have screwed up, they have rewritten history to have an excuse. They will remember that this season sucked "because Kobe had a season-ending injury." 10 years from now, new fans will have no idea that this season was already ruined.
