I would sign Kobe. I'd ask Damian to recruit him if he were amnestied. A Lillard/Kobe backcourt with Kobe being the grizzled vet support member? Damn my greed, but I'd like that.

 

He did a similar thing to Stoudamire. 100m contract with bad knees yet he was playing him 40+ minutes for weeks before his knees gave out and he has had problems every since then. D'Antoni seems like a coach who cares about the Now and not the Future.
