    These two don't strike me as great parents. The father has been AWOL for most of their lives and the mother moved back to Russia without them.

    People reading my posts and coming to the conclusion that EVERY bad person is bad because of their parents is a truly idiotic notion.

    You really think these people were bad because of their parents? That's stupid to me.

    And even if it was their fault in some (edit: indirect) way, blaming them is also idiotic.

    I think you took that out of context a little bit. But unless the parents were instructing the kids in the ways of terrorism, I don't think it's right to blame (or punish) them.
