It was talked about on espn. Guess Kobe sent the cops with him. She was selling his high school and early nba shit
http://m.tmz.com/#Article/2013/05/0...mela-auction-house-lawsuit-memorabilia-lakers Kobe Bryant is in a tooth-and-nail fight with his mother over some priceless basketball memorabilia, including his 1998 All Star ring. Seems Kobe's mom, Pamela Bryant, made a deal with Goldin Auctions to sell hoards of Kobe's bball swag, including a 2000 All Star game signed ball, game and practice jerseys from his days at Lower Merion High School, a Lakers jacket and shorts, trophies, his varsity high school letters and lots of other stuff. According to a lawsuit ... obtained by TMZ ... the auction house gave Pamela a $450,000 advance, which she says will be used immediately to buy a new home. According to the lawsuit, Pamela told the auction house Kobe gave her all the stuff outright 5 years ago. But Kobe has beef, claiming he's the owner of the stuff and he's trying to block the auction. So a fearful Goldin Auctions has gone to court, naming Kobe as the defendant and asking a judge to declare Pamela the owner of the goods. A judge has yet to rule.

Screwed up situation. I imagine something bad happened between Kobe and mom, else I would suspect Kobe would use some of his 200mil to buy her a new home. Also, a mom selling her sons championship ring sounds like a very selfish mother. I bet she's of the devil.
The story they posted today on SI.com was real interesting. Supposedly, Mom wants to buy a new house in Las Vegas. Kobe gave her $250K......and she flipped her shit and demanded more. He said "no", so she decided to sell his stuff to raise the money. If true, this woman has to have a screw loose. It also explains a lot about Kobe.
Big time. I know I'd be all kinds of pissed if my parents didn't come to my wedding cause I married out of my race.
250 doesn't buy much of a house in Vegas. A nice, but small condo. If you want a 3000 square foot modern home with a landscaped yard, nice pool, in a nice, safe neighborhood, you need to spend 500+. I can see dear old mom going out with the realtor after telling her the Kobe budget, THEN flipping out after seeing what that gets you in a house.
I'd take a ~2500 sq. foot house listed at $250k. http://www.realtor.com/realestatean...rook-Ct_Las-Vegas_NV_89120_M28487-34860?row=2 Our, all of these, most of which have pools. http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-search/Las-Vegas_NV/price-225000-250000
