Who no mention of Brandan Wright as our possible center?

Marcus Camby is listed at 6'11" and 235, and I'm sure that's after he filled out.

Yeah I am thinking that the bigger issue was their "shooting" guard was 2-11.
Collison was not the issue as he never missed.

    Wright is not a center.

Compare Wright size-wize to Henson and Sanders whom we all would be thrilled to have.

    There's virtually no difference.

Sander weighs 235 and is strong, Wright remains slight and at 25 if he has not added significant weight by now then forget it. As a backup yeah maybe, as a starting C now way IMO

Yeah maybe as a backup, but not as a starter.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

Not if someone better is shooting it and making them. Everyone has their role, and players like Collison know their role, and it isn't shooting the ball when Durant is on your team.

You know when Brandan Wright first came into the league, many thought he was an Aldridge clone. It's amazing that Aldridge has become so much stronger over the years. Shows the difference between 1.) A player that uses just his talent and no work ethic (Wright) or 2.) A player that works really hard each and every summer (Aldridge).

Here is the before and after shots of both players.

This shows if Brandan Wright is a Center than LMA is definitely a Center.

I didn't really care about your point or the argument. I just posted some random, known quote in there as a smart-ass comment as a sarcastic retort to your post.

But since you didn't get it.....

Please do note, Collison had 6 fouls and 4 TO's in 15 minutes. Oh, an one assist. That's horrible. TO's are worse than missed shots. If that's his role, I wouldn't want him on my team (I know that's not his role). My only point is that while he may not have been "the issue" in the game, he did more to harm his team tonight than help.

If Aldridge had a good help defensive game; he would definitely be a center. I wish that would be what he works on this off-season. I really wish he would just make the move to center and we use our cap space to grab a defensive minded power forward like Garnett.

Pairing Garnett with Aldridge would be amazing!

First, let me say I'm against trading LA to trade him. I think he's vastly underrated, and he's clearly underappreciated by the Portland fans (especially on this board).

That being said, LA's game has nothing to do with him not being center. It's simply that LA doesn't want to be center. I have no doubt that if he wanted to be a center, he would be. He's had many quotes over the years where it's pretty clear he has no desire to play the 5.

Garnett has no problem playing center then.

We're not getting KG. But I don't dispute that KG has no problem playing C. I'm just saying LA won't.

I have to admit I have done what you just did...... took one post in the middle of a thread and responded to it without really knowing the background for it. Thus missing the whole point.
