Not overly for or against him in particular. I am, however, vehemently opposed to people calling my team "the Zers..."

We could do worse than Shabazz at 10. If his APG weren't so terribly low he wouldn't be available anyway.
Also, about the Harrison Barnes - Martel Webster comparison: I like this comparison and thought about it also. Despite all the recent hype about Barnes in this forum I still see him as not much better than Webster and (back on topic...) I think Shabazz is better than both.

By entire career are you talking about just his 5 months at UCLA? Because that is the only negative part of the scale I am seeing. Not that HS is much to go on. But none-the-less he did dominate despite being a "whole year" older.

I say we start tweeting he has a drug habit. That, his tourettes, his APG, and his blatant snub
of his teammate after a winning basket could move his down to 10. I am feeling better about this pick.

It's funny how, 3 years ago or so, Barnes was the next big thing. There was talk of teams tanking for him early on(before college), and fans rebuilding teams by saying trade away X, tank this season for Barnes. He didn't show much in college, stayed an extra year, and we could have had him if we wanted him, ultimately going 7th. Shabazz had roughly the same story going. Next big thing. Game will translate better than Barnes, was told. Fans start saying trade X for picks, tank for Shabazz. Now, we have an outside shot if we want him of being able to maybe get him at 10.

Makes me wonder about the trade Aldridge, tank for Wiggins scenarios.

I do like Shabazz at 10, though I am strongly in the trade the pick camp. I think there have been enough high caliber players lately to come out of UCLA, and show MUCH better in the pros than they did under Howland for me to not quit on Shabazz because of his time there.

Harrison Barnes is not that great. He's looking good in the playoffs because he's being ignored while Curry gets triple-teamed. It's the Trevor Ariza effect.

Draft Shabazz. Sign Bynum, JO, and Jack. Instant contender.

The others theoretically have something to lose

Shabazz was a little underwhelming this year, so he has to prove something

Shabazz could lose A LOT by shooting worse than anticipated (as he shot better than anticipated this season. More team to see consistency in his mechanics or lack of, etc.)

Really doesn't have to prove anything. Other than he is willing to work hard, learn, and just wants to ball.

    Its the Lillard effect.

At the start of the season Shabazz was a lock to be a top 5 pick. Now he's projected around the late lottery, so his draft stock has already taken a hit.

He has more to gain than lose at this point.

Is there a link to the official lists so far? Not that I have any idea who most of the guys are, but it would be neat to see their heights.

I wouldn't be upset with Shabazz, if at 10.

Noel came in at 206 lbs.

Shabazz has roughly 20 lbs. on him.
