I was with you for thinking that Cho was a bad hire. Look up my posts. It was embarrassing how Larry Miller had to do interviews for Cho when he was hired. My stance on the Cho mistake is well-known, and you can look it up here. My point on Cho is that Paul Allen seems to like to self-sabotage himself, and if Olshey starts taking too much credit for any success, then Kolde and the other Allen groupies will poison that success, too.
Oh, I'm sorry. are we not allowed to disagree with posts anymore? I don't think he deserves credit for building that team or putting it together (he didn't), or resigning Hibbert. So when the Pacers get swept in the conference finals, will KP deserve blame?
Indiana was in the ECF in 2004. I was mistaken in the other thread. That ECF led to The Brawl the following season.
I don't know Indy's history but KP decide to match Hibbert (that was not a given at the time), I think he offered Hill the extension. Did he sign West? Indy is doing all this while keeping their salary cap at around 65 million , while paying Granger 14 mil/yr . . .not a KP signing.
Bird signed West while having KP be his right-hand man. Bird's legacy was bringing Walsh back and keeping KP over Morway. Why doesn't Morway have a new job? KP will be Walsh's successor...
sure, and congrats to Zbo for being in the conference finals. Dude has won more playoff series and big games than anyone on the Blazers roster since 03.
Definitely congrats to KP. There have been reports that Toronto was looking at KP among NBA circles. Makes you wonder how Indiana really feels about KP if NBA circles are talking about him being a possible replacement on a team that seems to be in a tough situation. Those reports could be complete bull, though.
As a Blazer yes. He won 4 playoff series. ZBo won none. But that wasn't the point. Since 2003, of any former Blazer (Sheed was on our team in 2003), Rasheed has won the most playoff series and it's not even close.. Zach is second.
