http://www.politico.com/story/2013/05/michele-bachmann-minnesota-2014-election-91878.html Too bad. For all of the things people found weird about her, I liked her forthrightness and backbone. She took slings and arrows, but was unapologetic. She was facing a tough re-election battle and will be fighting a charge of violating campaign finance rules in her 2012, so it may be retiring before defeat. I hope she finds a new place in the political arena.
She'll make more money and have more clout (and less accountability) outside of politics. She'll be on Fox News within a week after she leaves office.
Seemed like kind of a cruel remark towards a fellow American who has every right to believe as she'd like. The same rights you have. But, whatever.
She's made her share of cruel remarks, and votes. I view her as a dimwitted puppet of the 1%, and as such an enemy of America. Somalia is currently the most complete example of Libertarianism, and she votes yes on most libertarian issues. I would think she'd love it there.
I was just messin' Looking forward to meeting you......someday. My earlier plans seemed to have fizzled, though.
You confuse anarchy for libertarianism. When I look up libertarian in my funk and wagnalls, it talks about Thomas Jefferson.
Bachmann saw what Sarah Palin was doing on the national stage and decided she could turn that act into overdrive.
C'mon Denny I thought you might run with my BTO reference. Now that she doesn't "need" to be married I wonder what will become of fabulous Marcus?
